Raksha Bandhan At Westminster Council
HMB Collaborates with Brahma Kumaris and Hindu Forum of Europe for a Successful Presentation and Rakhi Celebration at Westminster Council
London, 7th Aug 2023 – HMB, in a proud collaboration with Brahma Kumaris and the Hindu Forum of Europe, was given the esteemed opportunity to lead a presentation and Rakhi tying ceremony at Westminster Council on the 7th of August.
The initiative was graciously received by attendees and has garnered praise from Sofia Rajab and Simon Cohen of Westminster Council. In their feedback, they particularly expressed their appreciation for the samosas, sweets, and Rakhis, which were generously provided by the Palan Foundation.
The event was more than just a mere presentation; it was a unique platform for cultural exchange. Being part of this ceremony not only provided an avenue for sharing the rich nuances of our heritage but also brought communities closer together. The overwhelming positive feedback bears testament to the event's success, indicating how both those acquainted with Rakhi and those discovering it for the first time deeply valued the experience.
HMB, along with its esteemed partners Brahma Kumaris and the Hindu Forum of Europe, remains committed to promoting understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. This collaboration with Westminster City Council was a significant step in that direction, and we look forward to many more such fruitful engagements in the future.

The Foundation’s goal is to promote social justice and combat poverty through the magic of education. By investing in people and local communities, we can break down the barriers of inequality and inspire people with life changing opportunities.
